The Executive Centre Contributes to Sichuan Earthquake Relief Efforts

The Executive Centre announced today the launch of a group-wide fund-raising campaign in response to the Sichuan Ya’an earthquake. “While we are thankful that our fellow team members and clients in Chengdu are safe, our primary thoughts remain with the many hundreds of thousands of people whose lives have been, and continue to be, directly affected. The Executive Centre feels an urge to assist in the immense and growing needs of those affected in the tragedy and contribute to the enormous reconstruction work that lies ahead. In response to the calamity, the company has set up a fund-raising campaign to contribute to the relief efforts,” said Paul Salnikow, Chairman & CEO of The Executive Centre. In the fund-raising campaign starting from 26 April to 15 May 2013, The Executive Centre will match 100% donations as received from its team members up to a specified contribution amount, apart from making a lump sum donation. All funds raised will be directed to Oxfam and One Foundation in support of their respective Ya’an relief programme. “On behalf of The Executive Centre, we extend our sincere condolences to those affected in the tragedy. As the relief and reconstruction efforts continue, we will seek ways to support the area’s rehabilitation, and are encouraging others to do what they can do to support the rebuilding efforts,” Paul continued.
